Supported group off-road bike ride
Ride, connect, and thrive
Beginner minimum skill level required
Join us on a bike riding adventure between Emily and Jesse Gap on the Yiperenye Trail.
Move your bodies outdoors, connect with yourself, others, and nature, and feel good.
Program:
8.30am – 9am – meet Anzac Oval car park
9am – 9.30am – bike, gear & self check, assess skills, load bikes onto trailer
9.30am – 10am – transport to Emily Gap
10am – 12pm – ride with drink & snack stops along the way, flora and fauna interpretation, and health and wellbeing tips.
12pm – 12.40pm – lunch and explore area
12.40pm – 1pm – load bikes into trailer and transport back to Alice

Wednesday 25 September is for 8-15 yr old FEMALES
Thursday 26 September is for 8-15 yr old FIRST NATIONS MALES & FEMALES
Please choose the appropriate ticket.
Students need to bring:
- closed toe shoes
- comfy sun protective clothes
- hydration pack or bike water bottle
Two experienced mountain bike instructors with first aid qualifications and working with children cards will lead and assist the group. The leader, Georgina Landy, has extensive experience leading bike groups, secondary teaching, and outdoor education.
A third volunteer will pick up the group with a vehicle and bike trailer and return the group to town.
Your child is welcome to bring their own mountain bike and helmet if they like.
