October 17, 2023 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$70.00Welcome to our Strengths-Based Perimenopause and Menopause Workshop!
This workshop is designed to empower women as they navigate the natural transition of perimenopause and menopause.
Our goal is to equip participants with knowledge, tools, and a positive mindset to embrace this new phase of life with confidence and resilience.
What is Normal:
The first part of the workshop will focus on understanding what is considered normal during perimenopause and menopause.
We will explore the biological and hormonal changes that occur during this stage, and discuss common physical and emotional symptoms that women may experience.
Participants will gain insights into what to expect, demystify misconceptions, and learn that menopause is a natural and inevitable part of a woman’s life journey.
Medical and Lifestyle Management:
In the second segment, we will delve into effective medical and lifestyle management strategies for perimenopause and menopause.
Participants will be presented with evidence-based information on hormonal therapies, alternative treatments, and self-care practices to alleviate symptoms.
We’ll emphasize the importance of consulting healthcare professionals to tailor individualized management plans.
Additionally, we’ll explore the role of nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, and sleep hygiene in promoting overall well-being during this life stage.
Taking a Strengths-Based Approach:
Our workshop is unique in its focus on a strengths-based approach to perimenopause and menopause.
Rather than concentrating solely on the challenges that come with this transition, we emphasize participants’ strengths, resilience, and adaptability.
We will email you a free character strengths survey to complete before the workshop.
We believe that embracing this new chapter can be an opportunity for personal growth and empowerment.
Through group discussions, we will help participants identify and appreciate their individual strengths and include them in their Menopause management plan.
These strengths may include qualities like perseverance, love of learning, zest, leadership, gratitude, or kindness.
By recognizing and building upon these strengths, participants will be better equipped to face any challenges that arise during perimenopause and menopause.
